Hi, Guys.
I'm a little rusty in the PC tech area. Here's my question: Lately my mouse is not working very well, and I suspect I'll have to reinstall my mouse driver.
I do have the DELL installation disks, but wonder... will I have to completely uninstall the driver first…or what?

I think the OS is Vista. THANKS.

If it's an external desktop mouse (ie not a laptop touchpad) first thing you need to try is a different mouse to confirm that the mouse itself isn't the culprit - - it may have nothing to do with the driver or the OS.

Belated edit : There is no need to uninstall existing mouse driver unless the driver developer's name is completely different to the driver you intend to install (this usually applies only to gaming mice since all standard, 3-button mice (regardless of brand-name or model) use the same Microsoft driver that's built in to Windows).
