GPU Compability

Hi i have bought and old pc Hp compaq 6000 pro Micro tower and i have and older gpu EAH3650/HTDI/256M and i wonder if it should manage the compability?

Plz help me. The thing is that i have already put it in and it works fine but im thinking perhaps it will damage the pc in the long run with instability etc. Do i need to worry?

My specs:
Motherboard Hp 3048h chipset Q48/Q43 rev.03
PCI express x16 max supported
Cpu intel core 2 duo E7500
4gig ram ddr3 dual symetric
PSU 320 watt

Solution
Stronger than actually needed PSU is always a good thing but if it's not overheating that one is OK too.
PCIe slot can provide up to 75W of power, any GPU that requires more would have jacks for added power leads and PSU would have to provide that too.
It will be fine, max power consumption of that graphics card is only 75 watts and it needs no auxiliary power so existing 320w PSU is fine as long as it's a quality brand.

However, if the PSU is the factory-fitted HP one, I'd be tempted to change it for something better, for example a 400w Corsair model. That's just a suggestion though, it's by no means essential you change the PSU if system is working fine on the existing one.

Oh man thank you for you answers, im new in this stuff. I found the gpu in the scrapyard and cleaned it and was working exellent. It has its own cooler and a little noise but not that much.
I downloaded latest driver for it and i got in temp 37C in surf, 47C in gaming and 70C when i open alot of programs.
The reason i asked was because i saw in the system requiredment in some pages that i need minimum a PSU with 400 watts and i researched that HP for this model has its own PSU design or "farctorial". and in the specs for the HP models it says maximum 320watt.
The gpu EAH3650/HTDI/256M has 2 sides with copparteeth its obvious one is for the 16x pci-express slot and at the other side of the gpu it has 2 seperate copparteeth. I thinking perhaps it for extra cables from the PSU to give it more power/watt. And also i could not find a manual on the manufacture ASUS homepage.

Any suggestions, shall i leave it like that?

I have now tryed Tomb raider 2013 in medium settings, Dota2 in medium-high setting with smoothness and fast responce on the graphics, and still maintaining the temps of 47-50 C

i can watch 1080p 60hz with no lagg and it has hdmi

max cpuclock: 300Mhz
gpu Voltage mV: max: 1000 min: 900
memory clock:max/min:1600

I will try to look up if i can change the PSU to 400watt and let you know if it worked.

I hope for any suggestion you can give for better performance.

Thanks for taking your to time answer.
