Question about ordering a build with pcpartpicker

Do you guys generally order the parts from the lowest price merchant per part? If i did that it would look like 5-6 merchants total

Or do you try to consolidate all parts to 1 or 2 merchants?

I'm wondering what is going to be cheapest if i want to have everything shipped here within 1-3 days. What do you guys normally do?

I personally use Amazon Prime for the 2 day shipping, im impatient.
However, there are times where some deals are too good to pass up (Like my B2 for 50 bucks on NCIXUS).
My thought process is if its more than 5-10 bucks difference, use the cheaper.

I was thinking of using amazon prime too because of the free 30 day trial period... hmmm, but there are a few pieces i would need to get from other merchants. When u order like 6-7 things from amazon, do they all come in separate boxes or do they consolidate them into a bigger shipment?

Depends on how well they fit in a box.
If you order all at once they will attempt to fit as many things into a single box as possible. When I did my first build all the internal components came in a single box, plus the case which shipped in its own box. Both boxes ship at the same time, and should arrive on the same truck.

I pretty much trust all of the US retailers that partpicker uses. You have to click on each link to REALLY get the lowest price because partpicker doesn't always know what retailers will charge you tax or shipping.

Hmm good point. I should investigate further. I think getting stuff shipped from like 5+ merchnts would be a pain to keep track of tho, thats why i asked here. If it was worth it or not to shave off a couple bucks.
