Hello all,

I've been looking for a larger SSD for the last week or so to replace my storage drive and today one I have been watching in my Amazon saved basket dropped in price quite a bit. However it has mixed reviews about early failure (some as bad as 1 week - 1 month).

Does anyone have first hand experience with the SanDisk Ultra II 960GB line and how long has it lasted?

(UK based if anyone knows of any good deals on a 1TB 850 EVO btw)

Thanks.

Same, bought it in November and have OS and all my steam games installed. Uses about 500gb and works fine as far as I can tell. You can register it for free 2 year warranty I think as well.

Only thing that was a problem was it doesn't download Uplay games at all but reading around I think that may be a general fault with SSDs

I have one. Bought mid-November. No issues so far.

Thanks to both of you, I went ahead and ordered it.
I'll let you know how it goes with installation and cloning.

twizzler1: That doesn't sound too good, with the installation of this drive it's about to be an all SSD system >_< though the only game I'm likely to have that uses Uplay is the new one The Division.

So far so good, no troubles with initialising, setup and cloning.

The best thing though, no more vrrr vrrr vrrr through the case now that the HDD has been replaced. Good thing I ordered it too as the price went back up that night (saved £40).
