I recently bought an EVGA Classified GTX 980 along with a Gigabyte z97 gaming 7, the rest of my system is a 4790k cpu, 8Gb 2x4Gb GSkill Trident @2400, Corsair CX 750M PSU and a Corsair H100i cooling system. After installing the system everything worked fine but in the device manager under display adapters I saw 2 devices my GTX 980 and a VGA display graphic I only installed my video card drivers but all games I tried to play (Call of Duty Black Ops III, Fallout 4, Assassins Creed Syndicate) crashed after few minutes freezing the computer, after that I reinstalled the OS and this time installed the video card and also the VGA drivers from the board CD and after that everything worked fine but one day after everything started again. Don't know what else to do. Any ideas?
When I execute those games a warning tells me that my drivers are too old, I have NVidia 350.12 version. Could this be the problem?

It is a possibility that that is the problem. You should almost always have the latest graphics driver as they become available.
I would at least start by upgrading the driver first and then seeing if the problem persists.

Then I'll try that first, also I have noticed that the problem occurs when I play games that use D3D11 cause when I play Dragon Dogma Dark Arisen that uses D3D9 hasn't crashed once.

Are all of your games on steam? You may want to look at this discussion: https://steamcommunity.com/app/8870/discussions/0/828934724090557861/

Also, what OS are you using? If I remember right, I had that problem with Windows 8.1, but I can't remember what I did to fix it.

I found the problem, there was some kind of conflict between the motherboard and the usb connection of my Corsair H100i. When every time I turned the computer on with it connected to the usb the I had to wait a few seconds for the system to boot like it doesn't recognize the hardware and when the cpu temperature got to hot that the corsair link have had to raise the fans speed then the system freezed. For the moment I just set a fixed rpm for my system and unplugged the usb cable from the motherboard and 0 problems, crashes or freezings. Don't know any other solution.
