I bought an used Asus rog G74sx 3 months ago and everything worked just fine. I recently decided to clean the interior of it with alcohol. When I booted it up, I couldn't connect to Internet and in my device manager there was no network adapter. The icon that is usually wifi show a Ethernet connection (not connected). I can't find my network if I click on it. Maybe my chip broke? I am reinstalling Windows 10 as I write this.

Solution
Yes you could have damaged the network card, or maybe knocked a connection lose. You don't want to be cleaning the system with any type of liquid, canned air is best and dusting with a soft brush. I like to use the dust cleanup wands but spray them with an anti-static spray first.
