How good is this pair of headphones?

I've been looking for new headphones to use lately. I was going to go for the Logitech g230's but then I realized I don't really need a mic. Also, buying the headphone itself with no mic will improve sound quality.

I heard about a headset called the Superlux HD668B. They are supposed to be RIDICULOUSLY good for their price. They only cost about $40.

30 dollar soundcards are overrated in the first place, even though they add bass they don't make sound that much clearer than onboard audio. Depending on your laptop you will hear most of what the Superlux can do. They would be improved with an external sound dac+amp, but perhaps not that much. I think you'll be fine.

Thnx man. Somebody told me I won't get to experience how good they are completly since I'm using a laptop onboard audio rather than a $30 soundcard; is this true?
