Hello everyone,

I just upgraded to a new CPU, Motherboard and cooler,
CPU is as the title says, FX-6300 running at 4.0Ghz stable after prime95 tests.

Mobo is the MSI Gaming 990FXA and the cooler is a Zalman Optima 4 heatpipes and 120mm
fan.

MSI Command center says 20c at idle and AMD Overdrive says 59.1 thermal margin(i do know what thermal margin is)under load 100% with prime95 my temps in MSI command center are at
29c and AMD OD is at like 43.5 thermal margin.

Room temp is about 20c to 21c 70F.

Do these temps seem right? they have been very very consistent threw different tests.

29C core temp/43.5C TM under max load!? That's surprisingly good.
Core temp and thermal margin are inversely proportional. TM is the distance (in temp C) remaining until you reach max safe temp for the silicone. As core temp increases, TM decreases. And vice versa.
With AMD Bulldozer and Piledriver CPUs I prefer to watch TM over core temps. http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2122665/understanding-temperature-amd-cpus-apus.html
