Adding 6Gbs internal sata ports

I need a way to add an extra internal sata port (6Gbs) into my system and due to my graphics card arrangement I can not use any pcie slots on the mobo, however i do have enough slots in the case. Does anyone know where such an expansion card might be found and or have any other suggestions? Thanks.

every new board i've seen has the PCIe x1 slot quite a bit above the 16x/8x etc slots just for this purpose. if you can't use any PCIe slots then the best option may be a better motherboard.
you sure you can't at least move the GPU(s) down and use this x1 slot?

this is an older motherboard with 2 cpu sockets and I had already thought or this but If at all possible i would like to avoid buying a new motherboard
What i need is a card that takes a pci slot on the case but uses the atx/molex power cables to draw power rather than a pcie slot

i'm not even sure if they manufacture PCI cards anymore. searching Amazon or Ebay for "pci sata" you may find an old product that fits your needs, maybe even an old packaged "new" product retailers are trying to get rid of for cheap.
