So I have a M2n68 PLUS motherboard, and I was scrollling through this site looking for the best and so far I saw that people recommended a Phenom II X4 965 for the CPU and for the GPU a R9 270x.

Now my question is, is everything going to work if I buy these two? I might also changed my power supply since my 500w burnt and I got a very old one (from 2002 I think) from my other old PC and I don't know what's the power of this one. I do have 4gigs of RAM.

If I need to add more info please let me know. And my second question is if I buy a Phenom II x4 965 will it go well with GTX 750TI? I know that there might be an answer already somewhere deep in this site but I can't find it and I'm really bad when it comes to PC's. Thanks.

Here's the CPU support list for that board along with the BIOS version (or later) necessary for it to be recognized.

According to that your BIOS will have to be version 1002 or later. Your board revision will have to be 2.01G or later.

Either the GTX 750 Ti or the R9-270X should be fine. I have run both with my Ph II X4 965BE, but I have a different board.
