Will an extension lead (6 socket) hinder my computers performance?

I have my computer plugged into an extension lead, that is plugged into the main socket in the wall. I also have various other electrical items plugged in to it. (Subwoofer, Monitor, Xbox 360, and TV, I also occasionally plug my phone charger into it)

I'm wondering if this could potentially be causing a loss of performance, I have also used my computer this way and it runs fine, however if there is performance to be gained by plugging it into a socket on it's own I would like to know.

Thanks!

unless you are overloading the power outlet, it won't effect performance, and if you do overload it, your PSU will just shut down and your computer will BSOD because it won't have enough power to run properly. and FYI, overloading = maxing out the amount of power one AC power socket can give.
