no, actually. the rating of a PSU is the amount of watts it can output at all time. 550w is enough for an i7 and a 970, if you don't plan on upgrading the GPU without a PSU update.
the CX, as all most of the people here know, is not a great PSU. its good for the first short while, but then it starts to crumble. look up videos on one setting up smoke.

will 550 is enough for that gaming system build?
i choose the CX600M only because three review said its good and i worry that the system are not enough with 550.
Since every PSU will have losing watt factor right?

While every1 here and there is SR-71. i want to ask along side.
Is it better to get Corsair AIR 240 or Bitfenix Prodigy M?
I want to listen to advice, i have opinion on my mind but lets listen for more input.
Thanks then for the PSU chosen XFX. Though if i may ask, which seasonic you use for your friends (logain)

I like the style of the AIR series, but it find that 92 mm fans on the back is just impracticle.

if you fly between citys all the time, don't look for a desktop, look for a laptop. a gaming tower isn't for you.

im telling you, a desktop is not for you.
anyway, I would go with the AIR 240 because of its looks, as I overlook the 92mm fan problem.

a desktop is just not practical for what you are trying to do.

You might want to consider an i7 6700, with a B150, ddr4 board instead. The price difference of the CPU's isn't much, and should be easily offset by a less expensive motherboard. Ram prices seem to be pretty close too. What would your budget be for CPU, motherboard, and ram?
