OC Options for i5 3570k when I can't find a z77 motherboard

Hi! So I have read hundreds of posts about overclocking an i5 3570k to keep up with modern processors, but unfortunately when I built my computer in 2012 I purchased the GIGABYTE GA-B75M-D3H LGA 1155 Intel motherboard. Like others, I didn't realize that I could not overclock on this board, but unlike others, I am asking this 4 years too late. I've been searching for a z77 board as the forums have directed me to do (back in 2013) but now it is impossible to find one. Are there any other options for overclocking? Any more modern boards that are backwards compatible with the 1155 socket and can overclock? Or should I bite the bullet and brace for an overhaul to skylake?

Thank you!

They are great, I had a Z77 Extreme 4 with 3570K and it was (still is) a fantastic rig, sold it to a client and it's still ticking away 24/7 at 4.7

Thanks for the reply! I looked online and retailers like amazon that are selling used boards are charging more than the new 1151 boards. The ebay ones just look really sketchy. Darn, that's a pity since the i5 3570k is great, especially from what I understand about it's OCing ability.
