Samsung Galaxy S7 Lack Of USB-C

Hey Tom's it has been a while!

I'm a due an upgrade to my current Samsung Galaxy S5 and really like the look of the new S7, in fact I can actually get a better deal on a brand new flagship than on my current phone. The only gripe I have is the lack of USB-C. Right now it doesn't bother me in the slightest as I have no other USB-C compatible devices but I know in the future I probably will.

My question is,
In your opinion, how annoying will the lack of USB-C be in say 12 to 18 months time, baring in mind I will be bound to a 24-month Contract.

Personally, it would not bother me at all except possibly for the Type-C power delivery if I wanted to use the device with a powered USB3 type-C hub to power/charge it while connected to external peripherals.

Coming from a Nexus 5x owner, I really wish it my 5x just had a regular micro USB like everything else. USB C cables are not all the same, and some out of spec cables can even be dangerous. I really don't think you are missing anything without USB C.

To be honest that is a really good point. Since I started using Google Drive I ONLY plug my phone in to charge.
