i7 4790k unusually high stock cpu voltage

I built my 4790k system some time ago but wasn't really interested in overclocking it , most reviews and post that i read seem to have 4.6 and 4.7 GHZ stable overclocks and not much more , 200 to 300 MHZ overclock didn't seem to be worth the hassle , but recently purely for fun i decided see how far i could push my 4790k ( what was my luck in the silicon lottery ) .
With every thing set to auto in my bios ( except my RAM XMP 1866) I ran some benchmark to get a baseline for my system , to my surprise when i ran aida64 my CPU voltage under load went up to 1.352-1.360 V .
I know that some people are achieving 4.8 GHZ overclocks with that kind of a voltage, normal stock voltage seems to be for other people around 1.250 V , i am not really worried about thermals , temp seems to stay around 70-74 C under load ( i am using corsair h80i with quiet edition SP fans ) .
The content of this post isn't really a question to be solved as such ( i have been using my system for over 1.5 years and haven't had any real issues with it ) but i would be interested to hear opinion of others , about what i perceive to be an unusually high stock voltage and if there are other 4790k owners out there what are your stock voltages on under load ?

DRAM: 16 gb corsair vengence pro 1866 cl9
GPU: msi gaming gtx 970
GPU: msi gaming gtx 970
PSU: corsair hx850i
SDD: samsung pro 850 256 gb
SDD: samsung Evo 850 500 gb
HDD: seagate barracuda 7200 1tb
HDD: toshiba 7200 3tb
OS: windows 7 home premium sp1

The presets are chosen by the motherboard manufacturer.

For example, at 4.7GHz it was up to 1.45Volts.

(Seems to be a pretty big jump from 4.5GHz at 1.25Volts. Not sure if it's silicon lottery, motherboard or what but seems to be rapidly rising power draw to ensure stability)

Other:
*It's worth noting that the frequency often DROPS as more cores get utilized. For example, if set to 4.4GHz max turbo you might only have 4.1GHz (approx) when all four cores are used.

So interestingly you may be able to tweak to say 4.3GHz (normal 4.4GHz max turbo settings and ONLY adjust the 1,2,3,4 core...

So interestingly you may be able to tweak to say 4.3GHz (normal 4.4GHz max turbo settings and ONLY adjust the 1,2,3,4 core multipliers) whilst maintaining full load (will vary) which is similar to an overclock of 4.6GHz under full load.

Long story short is it's possible to get similar or better performance by careful tweaking the usage by core rather than simply applying a higher overclock value overall.
