I recently checked my resource monitor. It said that out f my 8gb, 5 gb was standbye, 3gb used and there was legit no free ram. Can anybody find a solution to this problem, or whether it is a problem or not? Thank you.

Solution
Probably no issue, but->

You're best off doing THIS instead:
1) Reboot
2) Open Task Manager
3) Observe how much memory is used (performance->Memory)

If not opening any other programs after a cold boot you're probably sitting about 3GB, or under 40%.

Now if you are showing high memory usage in this scenario then you probably do have an issue.

Thank you. I actually did try that. What I found out is that the cached ram increases more and more after the computer boots. At the start, there's only around 1gb cached. Do you think this lack of free ram will stop me from running games?
