I've been using my PC for about a year and a half, with minimal problems. About 6 months ago, I was playing GTA V and the screen and audio cut out. The fans continued to spin but nothing else did. I turned it off via the switch at the back, the power button didn't work. When I tried to turn it back on, the fans would start but nothing would happen.

After a few hours, it turns back on as if nothing happened. It then runs as normal until I try to play a somewhat intensive game, such as GTA V/Just Cause 3 and then it will shut off again. The time it takes to turn back on can vary from a few hours to a few days. Sometimes, when I switch it off normally, it doesn't turn back on again. I must wait again for it to turn back on.

I'm considering just buying a new PSU, but I'm not sure if that is causing the problem. If anyone had a better idea as to what is wrong, it would be greatly appreciated.
