Having some problems with my desktop today and would appreciate any help I can get.
Specs :
Motherboard : ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z
CPU : AMD A3+ FX8370
GPU : MSI R9 380
PSU : XFX 750W Bronze
RAM : 2x Corsair Dominator DDR3 8GB
So the story is : Today, I tried to put in a 2nd MSI R9 380 GPU, however when I attempted to boot, it failed, and I did not get the familiar "beep" on startup and my motherboard showed the dreaded "FF" code. I removed the 2nd GPU to try revert my steps however it continues to show the "FF" code and the DRAM light is still lit up. The CPU fan is spinning and there is still power so I don't think its the PSU is anyway. My main concern is that if this 2nd GPU was fried (it was second hand), could it have friend my mobo or CPU somehow?
ANY help would be appreciated. So far, all I have tried is to boot with a single stick of RAM, which I have tested in every slot, also I have tried 3 different sticks of RAM with no success.
