Low write speed Samsung SSD

It has a SSD from Samsung: http://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/products/flash-storage/client-ssd/MZNLF128HCHP?ia=831

Is this normal?

Is the SSD very full? If it is above 90% full then that will very badly impact write speed.

I have free 23 of 118 GB, that means 27% free.

I see some references on the web to the model number you have as only having 130MB/s write speed. I don't know how accurate that is.

Still, a big difference from 45 to 130.

But if your disk had 130 as a MAX and it is 80+ percent full, it may slow down more. Have you checked with the Samsung software to see if you have the latest firmware?

I installed Samsung Magician but the SSD is not recognized as a Samsung Brand SSD. I have to install some driver?

You shouldn't. Every Samsung I have ever used was recognized. Maybe HP customized the firmware. Maybe that is why the Samsung software doesn't recognize it. I am just guessing....
