My computer has been working fine since I built it back in 2013, today however it randomly crashed and begun a cycle of turning on then off then on until I finally turned off the PSU. I then unplugged the power cord and held down the power button to get rid of any juice still in the system.

I turned it back on, the screen flashed "Your bios is corrupted" and began the same cycle again. Since then I have tried quite a few things according to a few forum posts but to no avail.

Run just the necessary hardware (PSU, MB, CPU) - No Change
I have tried taking out the MB battery for long periods to reset the CMOS - No Change
Replaced the battery - Computer now shuts down even faster after start up
I've tried connecting the CMOS jumpers (after unplugging of coarse) - No Change
P.S. my MB doesn't seem to have the traditional 3 prongs with the cap, its just two prongs that says CMOS RESET. I just used a flat head screw driver to establish a connection.

Sometimes through this process If I would flip the MB Bios switch (Located near the upper right of the MB) it would stay on, but there was no video signal being sent either through the GPU or the MB itself. I've looked for a clear answer of what this switch does (seems to switch to a backup BIOS?) but i'm not certain.

I should also mention that I updated to windows 10 almost a week before this. Don't know if the OS could in anyway conflict but It doesn't hurt to mention it.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't think its my PSU (Self test button showed no problems) or my CPU. I would not like to replace my motherboard but sometimes crap hits the fan.

MB - Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H Desktop Motherboard - Intel Z87 Express Chipset- LGA-1150
CPU - Intel Core i5-4670K Quad-Core Desktop Processor 3.4 GHZ 6 MB Cache
PSU - Corsair AXi Series, AX860i, 860 Watt (860W) Platinum
GPU - EVGA GeForce GTX780 SuperClocked w/EVGA ACX Cooler 3GB GDDR5 384bit
RAM - Corsair Vengeance 8GB (1x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (Only 1 stick!)

Future thanks to anyone who tries to help!!

Also what the hell does the SB switch do that's right next to the BIOS switch?

I switched both the SB and the BIOS switch to the enabled position. It is staying on now but there is no video signal being sent to the monitor.

Any help?
