A2 Error code

Yesterday I ran into a problem when I booted up my computer after putting in a new MSI Z97S Krait Edition motherboard, it showed a number of error codes on the bottom right hand corner with an A2 at the end. I plugged everything out ( GPU, Ram, HDDs, Keyboard and mouse ) and had to repeat this process numerous times to see what was the problem. After a number of attempts the keyboard was the problem and finally got to ''Enter Setup'' screen and did a clean install of windows 8.1. I just want to know if I could have damaged anything? Everything seems to boot up fine and I installed all the necessary drivers for my motherboard and GPU .

A faulty keyboard is not likely to damage other components of a system.
You should be good as you've made it through the install process, which is quite system intensive.
