I've updated the BIOS to my Z170 Sabertooth S twice now by using EZ Flash within BIOS. I just download the file, unzip it to a flash drive and update from that.
But I was just reading through the motherboard manual and it says when updating BIOS to rename the file as Z170STS.CAP. I didn't rename it though. Could it have messed anything up? It said both times it was successful, and is showing the latest BIOS ver.
