new w7 install, drive not showing up

just built a new computer and when trying to install windows 7 from booting from dvd/cd drive my Samsung 950 pro m.2 wont show up but I was able to install a w10 demo on there from a usb

why wont the m.2 drive show up when trying to install w7?

This is an excerpt from that link:

If the PC you are installing on has a DVD drive the best option is to download and extract the drivers and burn them to CD, then in Windows setup when it wants to select a drive/partition click on "Load Driver" and then put the CD in and navigate to it and it should load then NVME driver. If not you can put the extracted drivers on another USB drive (in my experience should be in the PC from bootup) and when you click "Load Driver" select the drive letter for that USB drive.

So essentially you'd put the files on a USB key (assuming you are installing Windows from a DVD) and use this procedure to load the drivers, this should make your SSD visible to the installer. The file link is a RAR file...

my MB is an asrock x99 extreme6/ac

I think its set up as PCI-E. how can I check to be sure? I have it in the m.2 slot if that helps. do I need this utility u speak of?

thanks for the reply but I'm kinda confused. is there any direct instructions to help me? like step by step? I'm not sure what to do. I see multiple links and random posts about still having issues

please help me....
