I have recently build a PC with a GA-Z170-UD3 motherboard and have a wireless access point that also serves as a network switch I have my PC wired to it but my pc states I have 'No internet access' I have tried reinstalling everything setting static IP's but nothing seems to work, I have DHCP switched on for my main router and no DHCP for the wireless AP/ network switch any ideas as to why my PC s giving me this no internet access despite having a connection to the internet because at the moment none of my programs will update.

Solution
If you can ping 8.8.8.8 AND google.com they you ARE getting to the internet from that computer. You have something wrong internal to that computer. I don't have any troubleshooting recommendations for that...
