Affinity Compatible Smartphones (CDMA?)

Hi everyone. I recently decided to get myself a smartphone, and while I consider myself technically knowledgeable in all other areas, I know next to nothing about phones!

So I assumed it would be easy to buy any unlocked phone and connect it to my current phone plan (with Affinity Cellular). My budget is <$300, so I was ready and excited to buy the Oneplus One. To my surprise and disappointment however, Affinity customer service told me that I had to buy a phone from Verizon (I assume she really meant CDMA compatible smartphones, since I guess maybe Affinity uses Verizon's towers). This limits my options quite a bit.

It's a long shot, but can anyone recommend a good phone that will definitely work with Affinity Cellular?

Thanks

On their site I see they only sell a very short variety of phones, and it is not guaranteed that a different phone, even CDMA will be allowed to be activated on their network. If you talked to them and they said that you can use any phone you buy from verizon then you need to go on Verizon's website and check which phones they allow. They will not allow any phone, even a CDMA phone.
