Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H97M-HD3
OS: Windows 10
Headset: Kingston Hyperx Cloud ii

When I plug my headset into the front panel of the computer, Realtek HD Audio Manager comes up with a list of things saying "Which did you plug in?". The Kingston HyperX cloud ii (my headset) either only plugs in through USB or through a single 3.5mm jack that contains both microphone and audio signals. Realtek will only let me pick between microphone or headphones though. So if I pick headphones the mic will not function, and if I pick microphone, both will not function... Plugging it in through USB works but I prefer the 3.5mm jack because I find it provides better sound quality. I know this is just a problem with my desktop and not the headset itself because it works fine on my laptop when plugged in through the 3.5mm jack.

I know there is already a question like this, but the answer just said to call support and I don't want to resort to that unless I have to.

My pc doesn't detect it as a headset if I pull up my audio manager. It just says realtek or whatever instead. I am trying to fix how my game or video im watching's audio is being heard by people in my discord. how?
