Trying to figure out which video card I should get for my HTPC. I'm doing mostly new parts in my build. I'm using an extra Adata SSD, evga 600w psu for the stuff I already have used before. The new stuff I have already gigabyte h170 motherboard, blu-ray drive, a few 2TB drives for storage i3 6100 and a corsair 88r case. My budget is about $180-200. My TV is only 1080p also. The main reason I want a video card is so I can play some games from 2008-2013. I don't plan on expanding it in any way in the future.

You should be able to get a 380x in your budget so long as you buy used. If you want a video card that is quiet just make sure to check reviews of the card before buying it. Some OEMs try to make their video cards quiet while other's go for cooling performance.

Oh boy you should have seen two months back. They had used R9 380x on ebay for $130. Picked up a few. Crazy good for the price.

dang thats nuts id buy it right off the bat haha, great deal.

Yeah I don't know what happened the last few months, AMD card prices have gone up a bit. The R9 290x used to be REALLY cheap too. They had aftermarket cooler cards going for $250 and even cheap if you were willing to bid. It seems they have gone up to $300 now. Wish I could go back in time and buy more.
