I have 2 1920x1089 VGA monitors and one 1920x1080 HDMI monitor. Mainly for editing. I now have a 660 GTX card.

Can someone please clarify the dvi to vga adapters I need or preferred configuration do that I may buy the correct cables or adapters?

It is the MSI 2gb gddr5 version. Shows 2 dvi connectors, an hdmi and a display port.

Thank you very much

THAT is what you'd have to buy, though I wouldn't. I'd suggest investing in a new monitor, perhaps even replacing two or even three monitors with a good 2560x1440 or 4K model at some point.

The cheapest one I see is the 1440p Acer, 25", IPS model: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/acer-monitor-umkg7aa002

I just bought the Dell U2515h which is about $100 more but has a much better warranty (3 years, zero dead pixels, no cost return with prepaid waybill, whereas the Acer is 1-year, allows some dead pixels)

You can find a 1080p, IPS monitor for as little as $130 with reasonably good quality too...
Yep, mostly.

There are DVI to VGA converters which are expensive, but the basic "adapters" are simply connecting to the VGA pins already present on a DVI-I output (not the DVI pins also present).

Your DVI outputs are probably DVI-I and DVI-D meaning only one has the connections for VGA to use with the adapter.

Hi sir. Thanks.

So I have an HDMI to HDMI : done
DVI-D to VGA?
DVI-I to VGA?

I don't mind spending for the adapters. I just want to make sure I can use the VGA monitors.

How about. Are there any breakout boxes in the market with 2 VGA outputs and 2 DVI-D or DVI-I inputs, meaning two channels.

What about the display port? can the display port breakout to two VGA monitors at FullHD?

Just whichever method works 100% I will go and purchase. My current workflow is more important than anything and I am trying to eliminate redundancy as I have been using multiple cards each dedicated to a monitor. And now I will be purchasing several PCIe peripherals so I need to free those slots.

Thanks sir! =)

I dont live in the states. The prices are three times more where I am from. However adapters, more simole manufactured products are about 10% more, this is why adapters are more practical for my budget.

I have two ViewSonic VA2231wa already and I use them to scrub through timelines and media view bins. The master HDMI is a 27inch playback.

Then the adapter photonboy linked to is your best bet.
