Well you can update bios... and enable setting in bios for USB that u can use USB keyboard and mouse.... Ussualy u dont have to reinstall windows when u change CPU ( only when you change mobo ) but i think it's maybe smart for you to do that... + download Driver booster to update all your drivers http://download.cnet.com/Driver-Booster-3/3000-18513_4-75992725.html. If u are in windows right now.... Do you have problems? still
Tell us your motherboard model. Maybe your mobo can't handle the fx 8350 without a BIOS update. Make sure you have the latest BIOS installed. Otherwise, put your old cpu back, update your BIOS and try again. From your description looks like the cpu is causing the pc to freeze (multiple causes possible, maybe the fx 8350 isn't getting enough power).

No mobo is shit, dude that works at MSI said my CPu can bump up to 140w on load. I didn't update drivers. Just bio and almost bricked my mobo using MSI live update. I had to man restart computer. And checksum error came up. Still using old cpu. Might try tonight and see how mobo running all together I will be uping the mobo either way.
