Okay, so every now and then my Ethernet disconnects for about 1-2 seconds and reconnects automatically after. Well, you see i do kind of know a fix for this problem but it takes quite a while to fix it.
I'm using the killer e2200 Ethernet port integrated into the MSI gamer 5.

The fix i'm forced into using is uninstalling my drivers for the killer e2200 and reinstalling it. I'm wondering why this problem occurs as well if there is a faster fix for this problem?

If you get reconnected automatically, then there is no purpose in reinstalling the drivers each time. The driver is not the problem and a new/updated driver (not a reinstall of the current driver) would possibly fix the problem.

Does the disconnect happen no matter what you are doing? Or maybe just during gaming? What about other computers and devices on your network - are they affected?

If I remember correctly I have seen some complaints about Killer cards here and there. Maybe some other user/poster herein will comment accordingly.

That said, more information is needed. See if you can think of anything that has been happening, changes made, other problems.
