i am planning to buy a new gpu and heard alot about pascal gpu architecture. currently i have no graphic card for gaming and planning to buy pascal gpu. I have heard about nvlink, i have searched alot on the internet but i havent found any information about it and i want to ask do we need new motherboards when the pascal arrives or we can still use PCIe...? thanks in advance for the help

The next-gen graphics cards will also be only PCIE compatible. It will work an all relatively modern motherboards released on the market in the last couple of years. PCIE x16 Gen 3.0 for optimal speeds.

and what about PCIE x16 Gen 2.0...? because my current mobo supports gen 2.0 , will it be fine?
