Hello everyone
Last week I ordered some pc parts for building my own. Everything went fine,after hours of work I installed windows 10 at last and installed all the required drivers from the discs from the mobo, monitor and gpu. But after i installed amd catalyst, i right clicked on desktop backgroung, clicked on amd catalyst and it said that it couldnt find any compatible hardware to configure it. So I opened dx diagnostics and under graphics it said microsoft basic display adapter. Then I opened device manager and under visual adapters there was only microsoft basic adapter.(note:this was after installing all the driver cds etc.) Weird thing is, my hdmi cable was connected to my gpu's hdmi port and the display was fine. Then i checked if my gpus fans were running and they were. Then i switched pcie ports to see if it made any difference but it didnt. Then i opened bios and changed my graphics settings from auto to pcie, then pci but both of them didnt workout.
Any help would be highly appreciated
Thanks in advance
Here are my components;
Asus Z-170P Intel Z170 1151 socket ddr4 3100 mhz mobo
Intel Core i5 6500 socket 1151 3.2ghz
Kingston 8GB Hyperx Fury ddrr 2133 mhz cl14 ram
Sapphire r7 370 Nitro 2Gb GDDR5 256bit dx12 gpu
Corsair neutron 240 gb ssd
Cooler master usp 100 case with 700w included psu
(also note that i used the drivers which came with the components cds and didnt update them since i didnt have internet connection at the time of assembly.)

Solution
Enter the bios and set it to initialize the PCIE (or PEG) GPU first. You probably also have the option to turn off the integrated GPU. If you don't need it then I would.
