I was trying out a new game "the Culling" so i finally got in-game and it was a bit laggy, so i decided to turn down the graphics a bit, i set most things to medium/low and pressed OK
and then my whole computer froze, I waited a minute or so for it to load and i got nothing except a gray screen.. So i force-rebooted it. After i did that my screen wouldn't work on startup, i thought it might be my GPU so i switched it out with an old one i had lying around, and now my screen works again. I've tried going into safemode using MSconfig and then putting in my "new" GPU (Radeon HD 7870 2GB GDDR5 Sapphire) but it won't work.. I've had it for a year and a half.
I need some advice :(

Haven't tried reinstalling the drivers yet, i'll do it tomorrow since it's a bit late.
my old card is Nvidia Geforce GTX 260.
PSU is some 650W recently bought, i'm not sure which model.

Nvidia and AMD drivers may not play well together. My first thought is that the PSU is giving up and that the 260 is not stressing it too much. But it's only a possibility.
