Pixma Mx922 printer

Just bought a Canon Pixma MX922 printer. Printer fails the print head alignment, and nozzle check prints only in black and yellow. Cyan and magenta are MIA. Has anyone come across something like this? I tried cleaning, did not help.

This is exactly why I ditched inkjets years ago. If you don't use them daily the ink in the heads dry up and clog the nozzles so bad you have to buy a new printhead or, in many cases, a new printer. You might want to look into color laser if you don't need the photo quality. I send my photoquality print jobs to walmart and they are ready when/whenever I go pick them up :)
