Audio drivers not working

I am on Windows XP 32-bit and I just recently tried upgrading to Windows 7 64-bit only to find out that my PC isn't compatible with Windows 7, and I performed a clean install and forgot to make a backup. I just reinstalled Windows XP and got all my drivers but for some reason the sound one isn't working, it no longer gives me the choice to change audio devices in control panel.
Please help me fix this.

I myself have encountered this issue before when installing Windows XP in the older computer or even a newer computer because believe it or not Windows XP is the most stable and most compatible OS that there is out there today that is why in the state of Missouri the state offices and officials still use Windows XP the solution to this problem is when installing a new upgrade to likes a Windows 7 Windows 7 Ultimate excetera the best solution to this when you have a sound video or any kind driver not installed or not compatible is of course not to do a fresh install but to go into when you boot up your computer hit f8 almost immediately as soon as computer boots up you want to be holding down the f8 button then you want to go down to...
