NexStar MS RAID 1 bad block detected using HD Tune Pro

I have a NexStar MX RAID 1 setup which is an external dual bay 3.5 RAID 1 enclosure connected to my PC using USB 3.0. Link is here http://. Recently I have been getting a message in windows stating "You must initialize a disk before Logical Disk Manager can access it" when I power on the RAID. However, I can see the drive in Disk Management and can read and write just fine to the RAID drive so I just cancel the message and everything is fine. There are two LED lights on the enclosure representing each drive that are supposed to flash 3 times per second if a HDD error is found but it is a solid light indicating no problems found. So I ran an error scan using HD Tune Pro and it found two bad blocks and then it stops never finishing as if getting stuck.

My question is this. Is there a software that can access both drives on this RAID 1 external enclosure and test both drives for errors and then state which drive, if any, is bad?

Technically I could just pull one drive at a time from the enclosure and test each one via direct SATA connection to my motherboard but I wanted to first see if someone knew of a better more convenient way to approach this.

Thanks!

Unfortunately the external enclosure is reporting only 1 drive to the OS so unless Vantek provides a utility that can test the drives over the USB interface your only choice is to connect a dive to your pc.
