New build - drivers questions.

Hello all !

I'm building new system, installing from usb stick, win 7 ultimate, my mb is Z97X-GAMING 3. and i DON'T need ssd or have any raid configuration.

1. When installing the drivers, i've download and install the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology, after install i've notice, there is new version, so i've download and install, DOES it's update the old one ?

2. If i'm going to buy graphic card, i need to install the intel vga drivers ?

3. Does i need Intel SATA Preinstall driver drivers ( ahci/raid mode ) ?

4. I've notice that i've already have in the bios ahci by defualt, for windows i don't know how to check, so if i have sata controller or ahci similar installed by windows, DO I NEED install it official from gigybyte ?

3. W7 Sp1 already has AHCI drivers so it can install on disk in AHCI mode. It may be an older one though but you can replace it later on if needed. (IRST driver).
Use AHCI for SSD, HDD doesn't benefit any but it will not bother it either.
