Hi, I built my PC three years ago for gaming and work etc.
i5-4670k@4.4ghz
maximus vi formula
16gb hyperx savage
asus gtx770
hyper 212 evo

Been working perfectly up until a couple of days ago when it started crashing and restarting oddly. I turned it on this morning, It turned on, but then 5 mins after the colours on the screen became weird and it crashed. When I went to turn it on I got no signal on the monitors, only one fan header worked and the cpu fan was spinning really slowly. Also, I got error code 00 which is supposedly either PSU CPU or mobo, as well as this I got no indicator LED's lit up, not even HDD one.

I've checked the PSU, seems to be fine, reseated the CPU and the socket seemed fine no bent pins, changed the RAM out and tried in different slots, checked all connections, removed gpu and tried onboard graphics, still nothing.

Not really sure what it could be that's caused this, help please!

Solution
I'm thinking motherboard RMA here, you may want to contact the manufacturer as they can still go through troubleshooting with you

yep, I ran multiple stress tests and benchmarks was 99% stable. I overclocked it about a year ago and had been working fine up until a couple of days ago.
Thanks for the reply

What you mean to say is that the computer will not POST which mean you can't access the BIOS while BOOT means when you use a storage device with an OS or program on it will not boot to it.

Please read and go through this thread to troubleshoot your build:

The main thing you need to do with a problem concerning the BIOS is to reset the CMOS:

@Wayfall Thanks for the correction, I've updated the thread. I've read through the list and tried everthing still no luck, im confused as I hadn't changed anything when the problem occurred. Only CPU fan and one chassis fan header working

Cleared the cmos and sadly nothing :/
P.S. the power supply is a corsair ax760

So are you just getting a BSOD?

What components are working?
Is the GPU fan spinning?
What other fans are there?
Can you hear the HDD working?
Try barebones, only use one stick of RAM and remove GPU then plug HDMI/DVI into motherboard display port

How long have you had this Motherboard, if not long try and contact the seller or manufacture for assistant in troubleshooting. You may have to RMA it.

Do you have a spare CPU that is the same socket as the motherboard and swap it with the existing CPU?

Ok just checked fans, and only the 'optional' fan headers are working.
The CPU fan is working, all be it slowl but only when the fans are plugged into an 'optional' header do they work.
Because they aren't monitored?
I can hear both HDD's working.

Sadly I've had this mobo for almost three years, so don't think its covered :/
