Upgrading from GTX 770 to GTX 960

Hi All!

For a long time my GTX 770 has been an efficient and reliable video card which has produced great results for my when playing my favorite games even with some on maximum settings. My friend's been telling me to upgrade to the "900" series and currently I can only afford a GTX 960 if I were to replace my GTX 770

Would the upgrade yield more performance for me or should I just save up more and get the GTX 970 instead.

pretty sure 960 is a downgrade.
as far as 770 vs 970 . it will give a decent performance increase, but nothing thats worth spilling another 300$ for.
just stay with your current card.
