Solution L L Leemarch Mar 8, 2016 I have now tried the new i7 cpu in another motherboard and it posts fine... For some reason the old motherboard only likes the original i5 cpu.

L Leemarch Commendable Mar 7, 2016 4 0 1,520 Mar 8, 2016 #3 I had updated it to 1603 before swapping the cpu, I checked it in the bios and it said 1603. However I have recently downloaded the previous bios version 1502 as it states it is 4th gen comparable Will try it tonight Upvote 0 Downvote
