Hello, I recently purchased a new monitor (Acer GN246HL) at 144hz and 1980 x 1080. I have my old monitor (HP w1907) at 60hz and 1440 x 900. I have both of them hooked up through DVI on my GTX970 graphics card. When I set up dual monitors, my 144hz monitor gets capped at 60hz for some reason. Is there a way this can be fixed? I've been using the NVIDIA Control Panel in attempt to set it up correctly. I only attend to game on the 144hz monitor and use the other one for regular use. Thanks.

Normal 970 don't have 2 dvi and suspect it is related to the issue and has to do with gigabyte's flex tech and how they implemented that since there are caveats like how using dvi-d disables 2 dp ports. What about if you try in window's settings and not nvidia control panel? If not, I can only guess you have to use a different port. Dp below the dvi-d should be grouped together but then using both dvi should work so I can't figure what they did with this flex tech. Those can just be sharing but then the real issue could be the auto detect interfering.

Also if you are trying to span the dispays then the old 60hz monitor will limit the new monitor to 60 hz. The video card has to sync the two displays so that means the older monitor will determine the Hz and resolution.
