Hello everyone =)

I have tried to make a little project on my own, since i needed a USB multi card reader.
I saw online that you could make an internal card reader into an USB multi card reader.

The card reader i am using is a old multi card reader from an older HP dekstop.
It's is this particular one: http://microdream.co.uk/hp-compaq-dc5850-mt-usb-card-reader-board-cable-10230193200.html

I have then taken a USB cabel and cut it in half, where i then had the red, green, white and black wire. I have then soldered on to the same location from where the internal coinnection is located.

My computer can easily see the card reader by usb, but non of the SD cards og USB i plug into it, would be show on my computer?

What is wrong here?

This is the tutorial i have followed: http://www.instructables.com/id/Recycling-A-PC-Internal-Card-Reader-Make-it-Extern/

Thank you for taking your time, reading and finding me a solution =)
