Gtx 750ti ftw or 750ti gs

Solution
Other than OBS and Fraps no, although as far as I've seen OBS isn't *too* intensive. I have to concur with Dustin though that maybe the GTX 950 is the better option at the moment.

well obviously, an R7 370 is amd's terrible version of the gtx 950 (which is why its so cheap, because it performs bad)
the R7 360 is amd's version of the 750 ti, and the 750 ti performs better, 750 ti is perfect for systems with bad or low watt power supplies

750 ti costs $100
r7 370 cost $120 and consumes more power

Really? As you yourself said, the R7 370 has performance comparable to a GTX 950 (not exactly but close), and it ranges from same price to a little bit more expensive depending on where you live. Furthermore, OP asked about the FTW 750 Ti. Sound like one of the 100$ models to you?

Of course it won't perform worse. The only difference is in cooling which will only affect noise levels and overclocking. But that's not the issue here, OP asked specifically about those two models, meaning the R7 370 is within his budget. That's the whole point. Since he asked about those two cards, he could get the much better performing R7 370 for the same money. We're not talking about going overbudget. Also "The R7 370 will get about 5-10 FPS less than the GTX 950"? 5-10 FPS less where? What settings? Different games will give different results, and this is especially true with DX12 Async Compute in the picture.

Mostly like how some games are more optimised on nvidia hardware if im right but keep in mind that i currently have an old 9600gt in my pc so idk and also i guess shadowplay might be useful

This goes on a game-by-game basis and the same is true for AMD. For example Shadow of Mordor is known to be more optimized for AMD cards, and both Far Cry Primal and the new Hitman game definitely look like they run better on AMD cards, either because of optimization or because of DX12's Async Compute feature which only AMD cards benefit from at the moment.

Current nVidia cards are still good but taking into consideration several factors including DX12's Async Compute and the fact that nVidia has purposely tanked the performance of older cards in some instances to promote their newer ones, I cannot recommend getting an nVidia card if you expect any kind of future-proofing.

Finally, no matter how "optimized" a game is towards nVidia, the R7 370 will perform better than the 750 Ti.

This is more based so on biases, though, than factual information. If anyone on here wants to make an argument, use sources.

If you do get the R7 370, model doesn't really matter, just get the one which you think looks best. It's too low end for better cooling or higher stock clocks to have a significant impact. I'd just recommend one with two fans for quieter operation.

As for whether to get the GTX 950, as I said I honestly can't recommend getting nVidia cards for gaming if you're on a budget. History has proven just how "future proof" nVidia cards are when a new series comes out versus their AMD counterparts. And honestly, with DX12's Async Compute (which is so far being implemented in triple-A games quite frequently for something some people (usually people that like nVidia a lot) call an exotic feature) the R7 370 might even reach the GTX 950's performance.

I do know that the r7 370 has a higher wattage and things like that but can you show me some benchmarks between the gtx 750ti ftw and the R7 370 pls? and can you tell me if there is some sort of amd equivalent to nvidia's shadowplay?

I am officially blown away by those benches but i really dont know now if i should get the gtx 950 i have shown earlier since it is about the same price as this card and if im right it is better fps wise but have any of you guys experienced the r7 370 or the gtx 750ti or 950 or all of them?
