The best non-water cooled PC build w/ GTX 980 ti?

I currently own an Alienware x51 R2 and am desperately in need of a major upgrade. I need help to make sure that these parts actually work well together while not making any rookie mistakes here.

That's fair enough. Your actual intended use would've been a good idea in the OP then.

If money is no object, then absolutely SLI those 980TI's.

The CPU cooler (even for an air cooler) seems to be a lower tier than the rest of the build. It's not bad, it's a very good cooler - just seems you should 'splurge' for a little better/cooler in this build.

Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 Silentwings would be my suggestion.

That really is nitpicking though. The build is awesome. Assuming you OC the CPU, it would be a shame not to.

I may be overkilling with the SLI, but I do a lot of video editing, so the extra RAM is good for me, personally.
