Hello, I currently have a Radeon R9 390 in my build with a motherboard that supports crossfire. My friend is trying to sell me his used R9 290x for $225. Here are my concerns:
1: The 290x runs extremely hot, 91c I believe, would the lower stream processor usage from scaling down with the 390 reduce that heat?
2: Would the 4GB of Vram make any difference in 1080p gaming versus if I were to buy a second 390 instead?
3: Are there any known issues with crossfire with newer cards and older cards?

in games like wolfenstein the new order I average 40 fps and same with many areas in fallout 4.
