how do i use file manager to move apps to the sd card on an lg phone?

I see threads saying to use the file manager to do this but not HOW to use the file manager. Maybe it's obvious but I'm not gettin' it!

you don't.
You use Setting>Apps and then go into each app and see if it has the Move to SD option. Not all apps allow the move.
