Hey, so I recently built a new pc, and its been working perfect up til yesterday, the pc/parts arent even 3 months old.
I was playing a game, and all of a sudden it turned off like it was unplugged, so i checked everything and everything was plugged in right, but i couldnt turn it back on for around 5 minutes, i get back on and like an hour to an hour and a half later it did it again, still not letting me turn it back on. I researched it and couldnt find a fix, im almost positive its not overheating, as when it did it i opened my case and felt the PSU and it was cool/room temp, only thing that was warm/hot at all was my GTX 950 FTW. I moved the outlet that it was plugged into from an extension cord to directly in the wall, and also lower the max percentage of power the cpu can take up from 100% to 90%, it seemed to work fine today for a few hours, (not doing anything demanding, just browsing web) and then it did it again, but this time it shut off, then immediately sounded like it had turned on for a few seconds, then turned off again.
My only theory is that either i was sold a crappy PSU, or my PSU is not giving off enough power to supply all of my PC. Also i doubt its a bad motherboard, and when it does turn off/not let me turn back on for a few minutes, the light on my Motherboard stayed on.
I have a FX-6300 black edition CPU, one 8 GB crucial ballistix ram stick, 450W Antec PSU, and a GTX 950 FTW.

Any Ideas?

Update #1: Its been around 45 mins since i made this post and it turned off again. After about 5 minutes, it turned back on, lasted 10 minutes and turned off.

Solution
Yes Asus anti-surge detects when the PSU provides an unsafe voltage, so you'll want to replace the unit immediately. Your build can run fine on a quality 500W unit. Realistically, your build will not ever draw more than 300W. A quality 300W unit (with 300W on the 12V rail which powers the CPU, GPU, and the majority of important stuff) would work. But, this is the cheapest quality unit I can recommend:

Yeah, all signs are pointing to PSU, but it acts as if its in perfect condition, but i got an error the most recent time it shut off, and when i rebooted it said, power surges detected or something, hoping upgrading my PSU to a EVGA 600W bronze edition

Last time it shut off unexpectedly, upon startup asus said it activated its power surge protection, so does this mean it is for sure the PSU?
Also I dont have a ton to spend on this cause i just blew 1000$ on everything for the PC, and i want to upgrade to atleast 600W so i know ill have enough, do you think 520W will be enough? and can you reccomend any others or should i buy the one you said?
