Computer black screens while playing games -- Sorry if this is wrong thread

For the past 3 months, my computer (Usually only doing this while playing Path of Exile) will all of the sudden just black screen. In the past couple of weeks, when it black screens my sound will also get stuck and keep playing that sound until i reset m computer. Also when it is black screened nothing on my keyboard works. I am not sure if it is the graphics card or power supply or CPU and I really dont want to waste money on an expensive item for the problem to still occur.

My specs are:
CPU - AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor
MB - Sabertooth 990FX R2.0
Graphics Card - Amd Radeon HD 7900 Series
Power Supply- Corsair HX650

If I need anymore specs, tell me. But tell me how to find it because I am kind of new to finding all of this. Thanks

Maybe yoyr gpu is overheating, its a bug in the chrimson drivers that let your fans spin at 20%. Try installing the newest version or if you have the newest one try 15.11 from the amd website

I am on the newest drivers (16.1.1). Should I try and roll it back to 15.11?

Yes, most of the times it works!

I have been trying for the last two hours to install 5.11. I go into device manager and uninstall the driver. Then I install 5.11, once it is installed a AMD platform pops up and makes me download the same version I was on. If i do not install it then nothing happens.

Last night I went into my Path of Exile folders and changed the settings to where I am playing on Potato mode. Basically it looks like I am playing old school Runescape now. My computer has yet to black screen while playing ti like that.
