Hi all,
I know there are several posts with this same exact issue and I have read them all and followed some of the advice which I will list below, all to no avail.
Everything was working just fine, then all of a sudden my computer turned off and when I try to power it on with the power button, it does not start up. Reading other posts, I went ahead and changed the PSU from a 650W to a 750W. It started up again but after some time, it powered off again. I went ahead and replaced the CMOD battery and this solved the issue until today (2 days after).
However, I can see that the motherboard lights (red ones) are on and the fan is working.
I have checked all connections and everything is where it is supposed to be and all are secure. Any other suggestions?
As I am an amateur, please forgive me if I have not included insufficient info. The following are my specs:
-Intel i7-6700 Processor
-ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming motherboard
-Corsair 750W PSU
-32GB RAM
-EVGA GEFORCE GTX 960 graphic card
-Samsung 250GB SSD
-WD 1TB HDD
-Windows 7 Ultimate
