Ok guys I am having a computer graphics card issue. This is not a new computer and everything was working fine before hand. My graphics card is a gtx 780. Today I saw there was a new driver update so I did what I always do and installed it. Well while it was doing its thing I know the screen goes black and comes back maybe a couple times. Well now it went black and it never came back on. And the monitor just flashes this grey color. I really need some help here guys. I do not know what to do. I'm freaking out because I have a lot of important documents on here that I can not lose. So any help would be appreciated. Oh and my mother board is a Asus maximum hero I beleieve. Thanks guys

So I ended up fixing it by unplugging my monitor that was hdmi and plugging in my DVI one and I could get to windows home screen, and rolled back to the old driver. Thank you guys for the help.

If you don't even see a BIOS screen, remove the card and see if it works with onboard graphics. If that works, check for a BIOS update, and reset the BIOS to defaults. Try with the 780 again. If that also does not work, test the card in another system, the card or the power supply may be failing.

I can get to and see bios but I cant see the windows home screen. And from what I've seen from the internet is the only way to get to safe mode is from the login screen in windows or to boot from a cd or recovery drive but I don't have either of those and I can not see the log in screen. If there is a way on 10 to get safe mode from bios that would be great

Turn on the computer, right about when the BIOS is finishing loading, hit F8 a few times before the startup screen for Windows loads. That should give you option for safe mode.
